Dan Markel was viciously and calculatedly and coldly gunned down in his own property one morning on a lovely sunny day.
He was not drunk.
He was not unemployed.
He was not cohabiting with another woman after his 2013 legal divorce.
He was lovingly taking care of his offspring.
The reason that the Florida authorities and the FBI did nothing for two years is because this death involved people of status, ie people with some money and university law school people. Florida State University Law School comments including those by Adelson will be unpacked and analysed later to reveal astonishing facts.
This is why police often muddy the waters in an Investigation and fail to follow leads in the first 24 hours. All are aware that the family received $44,000 from the local emergency agencies for not speedily arriving at the crime scene. However arriving earlier would not have saved Dan Markel's life because he was shot to cause immediate incapacitation and it is surprising that he survived for so many hours after being shot in the brain.
Even from a distance one can see the flaws in reasoning. This is criminal law.
