Law Professor Daniel Eric Markel

Such a heinous and extremely vicious and violent crime should be punished with the severest prison sentence without the possibility of parole and even the death penalty is not even severe enough because this gentleman made a very useful contribution to society and because whoever murdered him has destroyed the lives of the Markels including two young sons.
- It is an indictment on the state of Florida which is dragging its heels in prosecuting the "BARBARIANS" who paid the hitmen to murder Professor Dan Markel and the persons who arranged for him to be murdered.
- Such a huge loss to FSU Law School; and to
- Professor Markel's undergraduate students, his colleagues, and his dear sibling, Attorney Shelly Markel, and to Dan and Shelly's parents, Mr Mrs Markel;
- and most importantly, Dan's two and four year old sons (in 2014-now 7 and 8 years old) and finally-to the Jewish community in Tallahassee, Florida and everywhere in the world.
- I myself an not Jewish, but I have educated myself in Mathematics and Physics and then in literature, Law, Management, Criminology, ethics and corporate crime. I hold university degrees in Accountancy and Finance, Masters in Business Administration; and two higher degrees on law. I know what racism is. I understand that one needs to be ten times better than the competition if one is black. I know; I have experienced it. I experienced it all the days of my life here. It is why I am severely crippled with pain and a lost hip and thigh.
- Logically, I have awesome admiration for Jewish people and their triumph over adversity that ordinary people cannot imagine possible. And Dan Markel studied hard, was deep-thinking and humane but firm in his teaching. I wonder, how many Juris Doctors in Law would want to teach at FSU????
- **Dan Markel thought hard and made good academic decisions. A scholarship to Emmanuel College, University of Cambridge in England was an exceptional feat. It was not as Wendi Adelson and her ignorant mother thought, arrogance. Emmanual College, Cambridge, England was a university college where at least half the students there were from grammar schools and secondary schools and the offspring of farmers; most other parents being hard-working persons such as teachers and business people.
- Emmanuel College was not the destination of the privileged ETON educated.Most other scholars at Emmanuel College, Cambridge, UK, were offspring of ordinary people and over 10% were from overseas.
